Stacy Sollisch, Vice President
She has made her way to New Mexico from the East Coast. In her free time she enjoys learning about the rich history of the Southwest, photographing the beautiful landscapes and taking part in creating sculptures in ceramics and stained glass. My goal is to help create a safe place for all, especially our younger population in Grant County to get involved, to learn and to grow.
Scott Plate, Secretary
Scott is the co-founder of Native Heartseed LLC, based in Silver City. He is a certified coach, expressive therapist, end-of-life Doula, and published writer who has also enjoyed a long and award-winning career in the performing arts as an actor, director, and educator. His students and clients work at the highest levels of the entertainment industry, and as counselors, clinicians, educators, and clergy.
Ted Tufares, Treasurer
Ted Tufares (treasurer) is a native New Mexican with a lot of sweat equity in Grant County. He’s the main reason the Silver City Pride Festival happened in the first place. From New Mexico to Alaska and back, Ted has worked construction, on pipelines, and as a counselor in a juvenile correction facility. He now owns and operates the SWAG Thrift and Book Stores here in Silver City. When a job needs doing, Ted is usually the one who steps up. LGBTQ Grant County is grateful he’s still on board.
